Arkansas mass murderer Ronald Gene Simmons was convicted in the Franklin County Circuit Court. Simmons’s killing spree is said to be the worst mass murder in Arkansas history and the worst crime involving one family in the history of the country. His six-day rampage left dead fourteen members of his immediate family and two former coworkers. He was later sentenced to death by lethal injection.
