Edward Allen Warren, a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives who represented the Second District of Arkansas, died in Prescott (Nevada County). After studying law on his own, Warren was admitted to the Mississippi state bar in 1843. He soon entered into politics, winning an election to the Mississippi House of Representatives and serving from 1845 to 1846. Warren settled in Camden (Ouachita County) in 1847 and opened up a new law practice. Despite being a newcomer, he later won a seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives in 1848. Warren served congressional terms in 1852 and 1856 before returning to Arkansas and dedicating his life to his law practice.
