One of the most vocal segregationist groups to form during the desegregation crises of the 1950s was the White Citizens Council. A related Pulaski County group called the Capital Citizens Council claimed membership of some 500 members at the peak of the desegregation crisis in Little Rock (Pulaski County). Shown here is a graphic used by the group making reference to the military forces at Central High School during the 195758 school year.
