Of the many different religions that have been established in Arkansas, one of the newest is Islam. While the numbers are still small in comparison to other religions, followers have established several Islamic centers in the state, such as the one shown here in Fayetteville (Washington County). A beautiful mosque, which was built to serve Arabic students enrolled at Arkansas State University (ASU), is located in Jonesboro (Craighead County).
