Lake Fort Smith State Park, located in Crawford County, was closed in 2006 due to the construction of a new dam. In the spring of 2008, the park was reopened in a nearby location with modern facilities. Among the new facilities is a multi-boat marina available for use by the park’s many yearly visitors.
