Matthew Cunningham

Portrait depicting Dr. Matthew Cunningham (1782-1854), the first physician and first mayor of Little Rock (Pulaski County). Cunningham came to Little Rock in 1820, having arrived in Arkansas a year earlier, and was elected mayor in 1831.
