Mount Holly Cemetery was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Mount Holly is located in Little Rock (Pulaski County) and dates back to 1843. Over the years, it has become known as the Westminster Abbey of Arkansas because of the number of prominent people who now rest there. Eleven Arkansas governors are interred there, as well as thirteen state Supreme Court justices, four U.S. senators, four Confederate generals, and twenty-one Little Rock mayors.
