Maurice Neal “Nick” McDonald was born in Camden (Ouachita County). He was a patrolman for the Dallas Police Department and is most known for arresting Lee Harvey Oswald shortly after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He later wrote about his experience in his ninety-one-page text titled, Oswald and I.
