Members of the Community of Olivetan Benedictine Sisters pose at their new home, Holy Angels Convent in Jonesboro (Craighead County) in 1898. The sisters first came to Arkansas in 1887 and established a school near Pocahontas (Randolph County). In addition to teaching, the group established Jonesboros St. Bernards Hospital.
