Former president Bill Clinton is shown here speaking at the dedication of the Heifer International world headquarters. The environmentally sound headquarters opened on a thirty-acre site in Little Rock (Pulaski County) in March 2006. The 94,000-square-foot facility incorporates many environmentally friendly features, such as a 25,000-gallon tank for storing water used throughout the building. The impressive building was designed to use approximately one half of the energy needed to operate a typical building of its size.
