Happy Hollow (a.k.a. McLeods Amusement Park) was a popular tourist attraction in Hot Springs (Garland County) from the 1880s through the 1940s. It was best known for its humorous photographs, such as this one from circa 1900. Visitors could pose in an old bathtub, on the back of a burro, or even having a drink at the bar. Such establishments contributed to Arkansass hillbilly image.
