After graduating from Hall High School in Little Rock (Pulaski County), Wesley Kanne Clark accepted an appointment to West Point, where he graduated first in his class in 1966. A Vietnam veteran, Clark rose to the rank of four-star general and acted as the Supreme Allied Commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Europe from 1997 to 2000.
