Keller and Marian Breland admire the work of one of the “stars” of the IQ Zoo in about 1960. The IQ Zoo was a popular tourist attraction in Hot Springs (Garland County) from 1954 to 1990. The trained animals demonstrated the principles of the Brelands’ scientific research in animal behavior. Breland-trained animals were the first to appear in television commercials.
