The Herman Davis State Park located in Manila (Mississippi County) is the smallest park in the Arkansas State Parks system and is the burial site of World War I hero Herman Davis. The twenty-five-foot-tall monument located at his grave site was officially dedicated in 1925. The area was designated the state’s sixth state park in 1953 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
