In 1986, Arkansas celebrated 150 years of statehood with a statewide celebration of activities and events held throughout the sesquicentennial year. The official sesquicentennial logo, as shown here, was a common sight at official events and on publications. Additionally, many commemorative items bearing the seal were sold to the public to help finance the celebration.
