The Pine Bluff Murals on Main Street Project was launched in 1992 by the nonprofit Pine Bluff Downtown Development, Inc., as an effort to revitalize the city by bringing people downtown. One of the first to be completed was this mural depicting movie pioneers and Pine Bluff (Jefferson County) residents Freeman Owens and Max “Broncho Billy” Anderson.
