Lake Frierson State Park, a 114-acre site, occupies the eastern shore of Lake Frierson, located in Greene County. Construction on the park began in 1978. Today, it is one of ten reservoirs along Crowley’s Ridge managed by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. A pier allows easy access to the lake, which has been known for quality fishing since it opened in the 1970s.
