Southside School Homecoming

Marvin E. Moore of Moorefield (Independence County), whose grandfather founded the town, was the first superintendent of Southside (Independence County) when it was created in 1948/1949. He served until his retirement in 1977 and is shown here at the 1959/1960 Southside School Homecoming with alumnae Mary Rutledge and Martha Huff.
