Rufus Buck Gang

Five members of the Rufus Buck Gang: (left to right) Maoma July, Sam Sampson, Rufus Buck, Luckey Davis, and Lewis Davis. The men were hanged on July 1, 1896, on the gallows after being convicted in the U.S. Court for the Western District of Arkansas in Fort Smith (Sebastian County), with Judge Isaac Charles Parker presiding.
