Reeves Store/Post Office

Exterior view of Dewey Reeves’s store/post office at Stella (Izard County); circa mid-1940s. Dewey Reeves and his wife, Polly Vestena Billins Reeves, were the proprietors. Dewey served as postmaster of Stella from 1939 until 1943, when his wife took over as postmistress until the post office closed in 1955.
