Polk Bayou Bridge

The old Polk Bayou Bridge (a.k.a. Poke Bayou Bridge) in Batesville (Independence County), which carries Central Avenue across the bayou near Ruddell Hill. The bridge was built in 1930 by the Luten Bridge Company and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It replaced an earlier bridge in the same location. Photo taken October 17, 2015.
