Highway 14 Construction

Construction of Highway 14 between Mountain View (Stone County) and Batesville (Independence County), 1924. This is the road that runs through Desha (Independence County), Locust Grove (Independence County), Marcella (Stone County), Pleasant Grove (Stone County), and St. James (Stone County).
