Eagle Rangers

The Eagle Rangers, an Arkansas National Guard cavalry unit from Lonoke (Lonoke County) named after Arkansas governor James P. Eagle. The unit is shown here parading in front of the Jackson County Courthouse in Newport; circa 1901.
