Davidsonville Excavation

Overhead view of brick chimney base and portions of the limestone foundation of a residence/tavern at Davidsonville (Randolph County). Some of the residences at Davidsonville had rooms available for out-of-town visitors when the circuit court was in session. The bricks were probably made on site. This is the earliest known brick chimney in Arkansas.
