Burns Gables: ca. 1953

After a devastating fire, Burns Gables reopened in 1953 without its unique gabled roofing. Although missing its eye-catching architecture, Burns Gables remained a popular spot for travelers thanks to its cuisine, while the cottages could still be rented as well. This iteration of Burns Gables existed for about another twenty-five years.
