City of Jacksonville

Mayor John Hardin of Jacksonville (Pulaski County) christens the first Sixty-fourth Tactical Airlift Wing C-130 Hercules to arrive at Little Rock Air Force Base (LRAFB) as the City of Jacksonville while Colonel Richard J. Gibney, commander of the Sixty-fourth, looks on; 1970. This marked the beginning of the C-130 era at the base. The Sixty-fourth was replaced by the 314th Airlift Wing the following year.
