In Jacksonville (Pulaski County), Pathfinder, Inc., was incorporated and licensed by the Arkansas Mental Retardation Developmental Disabilities Services. It has become a statewide program with twenty-eight locations around the state, employing 500 people in the Jacksonville area and 900 statewide. Pathfinder provides services to adults and pre-school children with developmental disabilities.
