The private-public partnership created to showcase the scenic golf courses of Arkansas led to the founding of the Natural State Golf Trail, later called the Arkansas Golf Trail. The trail is a cooperative venture between the private sector, the Arkansas State Golf Association, the Arkansas Hospitality Association, the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism, and the Arkansas Department of Transportation. The trail consists of golf courses all across Arkansas.
