The Central Arkansas Transit Authority (CATA) was chartered when the governments of Pulaski County and the county’s incorporated municipalities of Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Sherwood, Cammack Village, and Jacksonville entered into an interlocal agreement to establish a public corporation for public transit.
