Lamar Porter Athletic Field in Little Rock was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A regulation baseball field, it features a steel-beam-supported, poured-concrete grandstand built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA), a New Deal agency. Lamar Porter Athletic Field is the only site remaining from the early days of the Little Rock Boys’ Club.
