One week after Devil’s Den State Park was created in 1933, members of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) moved in and began work on a number of projects. Today, Devil’s Den State Park, one of the most popular parks in northwest Arkansas, is considered one of the best preserved CCC park developments in the United States.
