The Pillow-Thompson house constructed in Helena (Phillips County) in 1896 is one of the best examples of Queen Anne architecture in the southern United States. Designed by architect George Butler, the house was commissioned by Jerome Pillow. Five generations of Pillows made the house their home. Restored to all its glory, the home was donated to the Phillips Community College Foundation in 1992 and today is open to the public.
