This theatrical poster was made in 2017 by Little Rock enthusiasts of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s abandoned musical Soto Voce as part of a failed attempt to host its first ever public performance. Lloyd Webber wrote Soto Voce in the 1960s about the expedition of Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto across the southeastern United States, including scenes set in Arkansas. He never arranged for the musical to be performed, however, feeling it was ultimately not worthy of production. Soto Voce has never been performed, and until the work enters public domain, the chances that it will ever be staged remain miniscule.
