Telegraph Wire Tree

One of the last telegraph-wire-support trees left along Highway 64 East (Old Wire Road) between Fort Smith (Sebastian County) and Little Rock (Pulaski County). This post oak (Quercus stellata) was installed circa 1861. The tree is located in Pope County.
