Spring Mill

Spring Mill (Independence County), between Batesville (Independence County) and Cushman (Independence County); April 11, 2015. In 1867, Lt. Col. John Schnable was contracted to build the water-powered grist mill for Anthony N. Simmons.  The abandoned mill still stands but is in a state of disrepair.
