Weekly Vista Masthead

The Weekly Vista underwent a redesign in the early 1970s, when a buffalo was added to the paper’s masthead. The animal was dubbed Bella Vista’s unofficial mascot after two buffalo given to John Cooper Sr. by Witt Stephens in 1968 had grown to a herd of eight by 1975.
