Helen Armstrong

Helen Armstrong, younger sister of Iris Armstrong and co-director of Camp Joyzelle. The younger Armstrong taught rhythm, movement, and dance. In the early decades of the camp, all Joyzelle attendees were instructed to bring with them yards of gauzy fabric to make a dance costume. Photo circa 1930s.
