Governor Rockefeller at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

Governor Winthrop Rockefeller (second from right) held a public ceremony of mourning on the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol for the death of Martin Luther King Jr. He was the only Southern governor to hold such a ceremony; April 7, 1968.
