Whole Frog Cafe in Little Rock (Pulaski County); 1999. Whole Frog was the first (and only) restaurant established specifically to offer the smoked fish products colloquially known as “garbecue.” However, this was short lived, and the following year, the restaurant revamped its offerings and changed its name to Whole Hog.
