Fort Smith Courthouses, 1896

The building on the right is the federal courthouse in Fort Smith (Sebastian County), completed in 1890. From 1890 to 1896, Judge Isaac Parker heard cases in this building. On the left is the original 1887 county courthouse; 1896.
