Dowdy Building

The Dowdy Building is a historic commercial building in Batesville (Independence County). Designed by Theodore Sanders and built in 1918, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. R. A. Dowdy built the building. The historic community of Dowdy was named for him.
